Staff are very friendly, helpful and honest in handing right information. Our apartment was very spacious and we were accommodated in a newly renovated room, very nice. We were quite impressed with the quality of the room and the atmosphere of the resort.

The location was perfect, just a short 1 km walk to the beach and a convenient store for all my needs. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a charming property and a lovely little swimming pool. The staff were friendly, fun to talk to, and made me feel like part of their family.

Nothing everything was great.

No one was there at the resort when I reached. Room wasnt prepared. No cooking staff....no breakfast facility...poor hospitality

As soon as we got out of the taxi, we noticed the great location of the hotel. It is just a 1 kilometer walk away from the beach, and there is also a convenient store nearby where we can buy things at a reasonable price. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with amenities like a toaster, cooker, and microwave, making it feel like a home away from home. the staff was incredibly helpful and attentive, as mentioned in the reviews, and even provided us with prompt service and recommendations for restaurants.

The hotel did lack some amenities that we were hoping to use.

We stayed for 10 days, we had a really good time, the room was comfortable and clean, the staff was friendly and supporting, the location is good for a quite time away from the chaos.

No hot water, the pool was not getting cleaned regularly.

Needs improvements on air conditioning and plumbing. Also needs improvements on ventillation from toilets.

The rooms at San Joao Holiday Homes are cozy and comfortable, with a touch of rustic charm. I loved the hardwood furnishings and the private bathroom with its shower facilities. It felt like a home away from home.

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the bathtubs in the private bathrooms. But hey, that's just my preference.
